Throughout the year, Horizons hosts a variety of events that raise awareness and funds for projects, which are important to connect Canadians to visiting partner representatives. Attending these events has been a first step for many of our supporters in becoming key allies of resilient women and men that enact positive change in their communities. Whether you are new to Horizons, or a long-time contributor, coming to our events is crucial in nurturing the North-South solidarity that allows us to promote social justice and end the root causes of poverty in Central America and Mexico.
