March 31, 2020 - Horizons of Friendship Partnership with Workers Vital to Farmers

  • “Every year, farms around Northumberland County employ migrant workers from countries like Jamaica, Mexico, and Guatemala. Horizons of Friendship, a Cobourg-based agency that does international development in Central America and southern Mexico, helps between two hundred and 300 of these workers every year. Since 2002, Horizons has assisted more than 2,200 migrant workers.”
