Sometimes a significant gift to Horizons of Friendship is not possible in life. A
charitable bequest, however, makes a major contribution easy and possible, all
while leaving a lasting legacy behind for you and your loved ones.
Through a Charitable Bequest You Can:
- Provide a lasting expression of your life;
- Pay tribute to or establish a memorial fund in the name of a loved one;
- Reflect your own life values;
- Provide future funding to ensure that Horizons can represent your passion and vision for the future.
How Do I Make a Gift?
If you’re contemplating including Horizons of Friendship in your will, consider talking it over with your family, loved ones, and legal support. Leaving a gift to Horizons in your will is as simple as revisiting, or adding a codicil. You can make a gift by adding a provision similar to the one listed below:
“I devise and bequeath (all/or _____%) of the remainder of my estate to Horizons
of Friendship in support of programs that its Board of Directors deems to be in
greatest need.”
Be sure to inform us of your bequest. It will give us an opportunity to thank you and,
more importantly, to discuss your wishes for the gift.
